“. . . be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

Ephesians 6:10 (NKJV)

Life after a holiday can feel calm, but spiritual battles don’t follow the calendar. Paul reminds us that strength for the unseen battles comes from being “strong in the Lord,” not strong in ourselves.

The phrase “in the power of His might” means God’s inherent, unstoppable, unmatched strength. It’s the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. That power is available to you—not occasionally, but continually.

Spiritual strength is not passive. It is active. It is choosing daily to stand in God’s power, put on His armor, and walk in His truth. The enemy doesn’t fear your strength; he fears God’s strength in you.

You may not know what challenges this week will bring, but God does. And He equips you ahead of time. He strengthens your mind with truth, your heart with righteousness, your steps with peace, and your faith with endurance.

You don’t fight for victory—you fight from victory.

Lord, strengthen me with Your mighty power. Prepare me for the battles I cannot see and help me stand firm in Your truth. Fill me with courage and confidence in You. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
