“. . . My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness . . .”

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)

We often think spiritual strength means never struggling, never wavering, never feeling weak. But Scripture flips that idea upside down. God tells Paul that His strength is actually perfected—completed, revealed, displayed—in our weakness.

Weakness is not a spiritual failure. It is a spiritual doorway.

When we admit our limitations, God steps in with His limitless power. When we acknowledge our need, He supplies His grace. When we stop pretending to be strong, He becomes strong in us.

Paul didn’t boast about his achievements; he boasted about his weaknesses because they made room for God’s strength. Imagine how freeing that is. You don’t have to be the strongest person in the room. You don’t have to carry every burden alone. You don’t have to pretend everything is fine.

God’s strength shines brightest when your strength runs out.

This week, instead of hiding your weaknesses, bring them to God. Let Him turn your limitations into testimonies of His grace.

Father, thank You that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Help me stop relying on myself and start resting in Your grace. Show Your power in my life today. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
