“Strength That Renews When You’re Tired”

“But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)

Spiritual fatigue is real. Even faithful believers get tired. Isaiah reminds us that strength is renewed—not manufactured—when we “wait on the Lord.” Waiting doesn’t mean doing nothing. It means looking to God with expectation, trust, and hope.

Renewal is God’s specialty. He renews strength the way a fresh wind fills a sail. He lifts us when we feel low. He restores us when we feel worn. He energizes us when we feel empty.

Notice the promise:

  • You will mount up with wings like eagles — God lifts you.
  • You will run and not grow weary — God sustains you.
  • You will walk and not faint—God steadies you.

Strength from God is not a one-time gift; it is a continual supply. When you feel spiritually drained, don’t push harder—pause longer. Let God refill what life has poured out.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Father, renew my strength today. Lift me where I am weary and restore my joy. Help me wait on You with trust and expectation. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
