Day 5 – Friday

Yet I Will Rejoice

“Though the fig tree should not blossom . . . yet I will rejoice in the LORD.”

Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NKJV)

Habakkuk ends where few of us expect—with joy. Not because circumstances improved. They hadn’t. Not because the world suddenly made sense. It didn’t. Habakkuk rejoices because he finally sees God clearly.

His joy is not rooted in outcomes—it’s rooted in God’s character.

Habakkuk moves from “How long, Lord?” to “Yet I will rejoice.” From fear to faith. From confusion to confidence. From despair to worship.

This is the journey God wants to lead us on today. Our world may feel chaotic, but God is still good. Our culture may drift, but God is still sovereign. Our hearts may grow weary, but God is still our strength.

Habakkuk discovered that joy is not the absence of trouble—it is the presence of God.

Closing Prayer:

Lord, even when life is hard and answers are slow, I choose to rejoice in You. Be my strength, my hope, and my steady foundation. Lead me from fear to faith. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
