Redeeming Time: What to Keep and Release

“. . . A time to keep, and a time to throw away.”

Ecclesiastes 3:6b (NKJV)

When we lose an hour to the time change, we’re reminded how precious each hour really is. But instead of focusing on what we lost, Scripture invites us to focus on what we keep—and what we release.

There are things worth keeping this week:

  • A grateful attitude
  • A calm spirit
  • A commitment to excellence
  • A heart that honors God

And there are things worth throwing away:

  • Complaining about the lost hour
  • Rushing without purpose
  • Carrying yesterday’s frustrations
  • Worrying about what you can’t control

Redeeming time isn’t about squeezing more into the day. It’s about filling the day with what matters.

Prayer

Father, help us redeem the hours we have. Show us what to keep and what to release. Fill our time with things that honor You and remove anything that distracts us from Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
