“. . . a time for war, and a time for peace.”
Ecclesiastes 3:8b (NKJV)
Time change can make our inner world feel like a tug‑of‑war. Our bodies fight fatigue. Our minds fight distraction. Our schedules fight for space. But God calls us into peace, not inner conflict.
This verse reminds us that while life includes battles, God also provides seasons of peace. Even in a busy week, peace is not the absence of activity—it’s the presence of God in the activity.
As we adjust to the new time, we can choose to walk in God’s timing rather than our own urgency. His timing brings clarity. His timing brings calm. His timing brings peace that steadies us, even when our clocks shift.
Prayer
Lord, bring Your peace into our week as we adjust to the time change. Quiet the inner battles and help us walk in Your timing. Let Your presence guide our steps and settle our hearts. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
