“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”
Galatians 5:1 (NKJV)
Christ did not bring us to life so we could remain bound by the things that once held us captive. He set us free—free from sin’s control, free from fear’s grip, free from the lies that once shaped our identity. Being alive in Christ means we walk in a freedom that is both spiritual and practical.
This freedom is not the absence of boundaries; it is the presence of God’s truth guiding our steps. It is the ability to say no to sin and yes to righteousness. It is the confidence to live without fear of judgment because Christ has already paid the price.
Freedom in Christ is a daily choice. We choose to live in the truth of who He says we are. We choose to reject the old patterns that once defined us. And we choose to embrace the joy of walking in step with the Spirit. You are alive—and you are free.
Closing Prayer:
Father, thank You for the freedom I have in Christ. Help me walk in that freedom with courage and joy. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!
