Wisdom in Action

“For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”

Colossians 1:9-10 (NKJV)

Wisdom is not passive—it produces fruit. Paul prayed that believers would be filled with spiritual wisdom so their lives would reflect God’s character. Wisdom shapes how we speak, serve, respond, and love. It transforms our conduct so that we “walk worthy of the Lord” and bear fruit that honors Him.

When God’s wisdom fills us, our lives become evidence of His grace. We grow in patience, kindness, discernment, and spiritual understanding. Wisdom is seen not only in what we know but in how we live.

Closing Prayer:

Father, fill me with spiritual wisdom so that my life bears fruit that honors You. Let my actions reflect Your heart and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
