Balanced: When Body and Spirit Work Together

Wednesday

Presenting What God Has Given

“For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things . . .”

1 Timothy 4:8 (NKJV)

In physical therapy, progress begins when a patient shows up and says, “Here I am. Work with what I’ve got.” They bring their limitations, their pain, their stiffness—and the therapist guides them toward healing.

God invites us to do the same spiritually. Present your body. Present your mind. Present your habits, your struggles, your desires. Bring Him what you have, not what you wish you had.

A living sacrifice is not a one‑time offering. It’s a daily posture. It’s saying, “Lord, use my body, my energy, my time, and my abilities for Your glory.” Physical therapy strengthens the body for daily life. Biblical therapy strengthens the soul for daily obedience.

When you present yourself to God, He begins reshaping you from the inside out. He restores balance where life has knocked you off center. He renews strength where weariness has taken hold.

Closing Prayer

Lord, I present myself to You today—body, mind, and spirit. Use what I offer and shape me into a living sacrifice that reflects Your grace. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
