“Who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”

1 Peter 1:5 (NKJV)

Peter reminds believers that we are “kept by the power of God through faith.” Your salvation is not maintained by your strength but by God’s. If salvation depended on human effort, no one would be saved. But God Himself guards, protects, and preserves His children.

Think of how powerful God is—He created the universe, sustains all things, and rules over every detail of life. That same power keeps your salvation secure. You are not holding onto God as much as He is holding onto you. His grip never weakens, never slips, and never fails.

This truth brings tremendous comfort. You may feel weak, but God is strong. You may feel inconsistent, but God is faithful. You may feel unworthy, but God is gracious. Your salvation is safe because it rests in His hands, not yours. Today, rejoice that you are kept by divine power—eternal, unchanging, and unstoppable.

Closing Prayer

Father, thank You that my salvation is kept by Your power and not my own. Strengthen my faith and help me trust Your unfailing grip on my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!
