Depend on God Daily

“They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

Lamentations 3:23 (NKJV)

Breaking a bad habit is not a one‑time event—it’s a daily dependence on God’s renewing mercy. Every morning brings fresh strength, fresh grace, and fresh opportunity to walk in freedom.

Some days you’ll feel victorious. Other days you may feel discouraged. But God’s faithfulness does not fluctuate with your performance. His mercy meets you every morning, reminding you that change is a journey, not a single moment.

Daily dependence means inviting God into your routine. It means praying before the day begins, asking for strength in moments of weakness, and thanking Him for every victory—big or small. It means trusting that He is shaping you day by day.

You don’t break habits by willpower alone. You break them by walking with God consistently. His Spirit empowers what your flesh cannot accomplish. His presence strengthens what your resolve cannot sustain.

Every morning, He gives you a new beginning. Take it. Walk in it. Trust it.

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for new mercies every morning. Help me depend on You daily as I work to break this habit. Strengthen me with Your Spirit and remind me that Your faithfulness is greater than my weakness. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!
