Monday
“Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing.”
Psalm 100:2 (NKJV)
As we enter this week, we’re reminded that serving the Lord is one of the greatest privileges we have as His people. Each day offers fresh opportunities to reflect His love, share His kindness, and live out our faith in practical ways. As we approach Independence Day, may our service point to the One who gives the truest freedom of all.
Serving the Lord is not a burden, it’s a privilege wrapped in joy. When we serve, we step into the very heart of God’s character. He is a giving God, a serving God, a God who bends low to lift others up.
Sometimes we overcomplicate service, imagining it must be big, public, or impressive. But Scripture reminds us that gladness—not grandeur—is what God delights in. A cheerful word, a quiet prayer, a small act of kindness, a moment of patience… these are offerings of worship.
When we serve with gladness, we reflect the One who served us first. Joy grows when we give it away.
Closing Prayer:
Lord, fill my heart with gladness as I serve You today. Let my actions reflect Your kindness and my words carry Your joy. Use me in simple ways to bless others. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
