Theme: “Held Steady By God’s Presence”

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you . . .”

Isaiah 43:2a (NKJV)

Every one of us knows what it feels like when life rises faster than we can manage—deadlines stack up, unexpected problems surface, and emotions run high. Isaiah 43:2 doesn’t say if the waters rise; it says when. God acknowledges the reality of overwhelming seasons, but He also gives a promise stronger than the pressure: “I will be with you.”

This means God is not watching from the shoreline. He steps into the water with us. He doesn’t remove every challenge, but He removes the fear of facing it alone. His presence becomes our stability, our breath, and our confidence.

When the waters rise this week—whether in your schedule, your relationships, or your thoughts—remember that God’s presence is not based on your performance. It’s based on His covenant love. You may feel the waves, but you will not be swept away.

Closing Prayer:

Lord, when the waters rise around me, steady my heart with Your presence. Help me trust that You are with me in every challenge I face today. Strengthen my spirit and guide my steps. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.
