Strength for the Middle
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)
The middle of anything can be the hardest part. It is the middle of a project, a season, a challenge, or even a month. The excitement of the beginning has faded, and the finish line still feels far away. That’s where weariness tries to settle in.
Paul’s encouragement is simple but powerful: don’t quit. Don’t let fatigue convince you that your efforts don’t matter. God is working even when you can’t see progress. The harvest comes “at the proper time”—not early, not late, but right on God’s schedule.
If you’re in the middle of something today, take heart. God hasn’t forgotten you. He is strengthening you, shaping you, and preparing a harvest that will be worth every step.
Prayer:
Father, renew my strength today. When I grow weary, remind me that You are working in ways I can’t see. Help me persevere with hope and confidence in Your timing. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!
