When God Sees the Small Things
“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”
Matthew 25:21 (NKJV)
We often imagine faithfulness as something big, dramatic, or public. Jesus reminds us that God notices the small things. He sees the quiet acts of integrity. God observes the unseen moments of kindness and the choices we make when no one is watching. The servants in Jesus’ parable weren’t praised for spectacular accomplishments; they were honored for being faithful with what they had.
As you start this week, don’t underestimate the power of small obedience. A gentle word. A patient response. A task done with excellence. A prayer whispered in trust. God sees it all, and He delights in those who steward their moments well.
Faithfulness today prepares you for fruitfulness tomorrow. And even when your efforts feel unnoticed, they are never wasted in the kingdom of God.
PRAYER:
Lord, help me be faithful in the small things today. Give me eyes to see opportunities to honor You in ordinary moments. Strengthen my heart to serve with joy, integrity, and gratitude. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!
