Shining the Way
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)
When we see the way, choose the way, and walk the way—something beautiful happens. Our lives start to shine. Not with our own brilliance, but with the light of Christ reflected through us. People notice peace in chaos, kindness in conflict, integrity in pressure, and hope in hardship.
Shining the way isn’t about drawing attention to ourselves. It’s about pointing others to the One who changed us. Your life—your words, your work, your attitude—will be the only glimpse of Jesus someone sees today.
As you finish the week, ask God for guidance. Pray that your life becomes a light. Let this light help others find the way of Christ.
Prayer:
Lord, let Your light shine through me today. Use my life to encourage, uplift, and point others toward You. Make me a reflection of Your grace and truth. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!
