Choosing the Way
“. . . choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve . . . But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)
Seeing the way is one thing. Choosing it is another. Every day presents crossroads—moments where we decide whether to follow Christ’s way or drift toward convenience, comfort, or self. Joshua’s challenge to Israel still echoes today: Who will you serve?
Choosing the way of Christ is rarely the easiest choice. It requires humility when pride feels justified, forgiveness when resentment feels easier, and obedience when compromise seems harmless. But every choice shapes our character and deepens our witness.
Today, you will face decisions—big or small—that reveal who you serve. Let your choices show your devotion to Christ. Choose His way, even when it costs something. Especially when it costs something.
Prayer:
Father, give me strength to choose Your way today. When I face decisions, remind me who I belong to. Help my choices honor You and show Your heart. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!
